Following are the pathways and requirements:
- Programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trade Program (FSTP).
- CRS Score: Points for age, education, work experience, language skills (IELTS/CELPIP for English, TEF for French), and adaptability. Aim for a score competitive with recent draws (typically 470+).
- Job Offer/PNP: A valid job offer or Provincial Nomination (PNP) adds 600 CRS points.
- Province Specific Eligibility: Each Province such as Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Nova Scotia , Alberta. Each province has their own in demand occupations NOC Codes. The Nomination from the provinces boost your CRS points.

Family Sponsorship:
Eligibility:
- Spousal Sponsorship: requires a spouse, common law partner or conjugal partner to be PR or citizen
- Parents and grandparents’ sponsorship: The children or grandchildren need to be PR or citizens and should have the sufficient income to support their parents or grandparents.
Other Pathways
Eligibility: Requires Job Offer and relevant work experience or relevant credential
- Rural and North Immigration Pilot Program (RINP): Job offers in specific rural communities
- Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP): This program targets the provinces with job offer and designated employers.
Mandate and common requirements:
- Language Proficiency
- Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)
- Proof of Funds/ Settlement Funds
- Medical and Security checks
